Best defence in the league

We should have won that league. It's absolutely incredible that we have gained promotion again and if , buts and maybe's are irrelevant now but 2pts...just 2 PTS. Oh well, THE REDS ARE GOING UP!!
 
We’ve certainly finished the season more strongly than FFC. Bodes well for next season! Often teams carry that form through…
 
Umm, if this thread is about what a great defence we had, why are we talking Kieffer Moore after half a dozen posts?

A big hand for all those who played their part in keeping the goals against tally down. Obviously that can start by pressing from the front, and everyone will be back for corners and set pieces. But the biggest praise is surely for Travers, Kelly, Cahill, Mepham, Ibsen Rossi, Smith, Stacey, Zemura, Davis et Al, plus Cook, Kilkenny and Lerma. :bow::bow::bow:
 
As a former keeper I've always felt that when a keeper keeps a clean sheet a lot of it is down to the guys in front of him. Our whole team is responsible for us having the most clean sheets, least goals conceded and least defeats. A keeper should have as little to do as possible. What Travers had to do he did very well. I hope we can hold on to him for next season.
