Our Academy Under 18 keeper, on loan at Wimborne Town, was the hero and man of the match tonight pulling off some great saves during the game and then saving the first two Maidstone United penalties.
Our former player Charlie Seaman opened the scoring for Maidstone with a 25 yard free kick. With Terrell's saves Wimborne dug in and equalised towards the end of the first half. Seaman scored again mid way through the second half but then went off injured. Again Terrell pulled off some super saves including a second half penalty but it was the Maidstone keeper who as the clock ticked down pulled off an amazing point blank save from a fierce shot,
Wimborne were not to be out done and equalised deep into stoppage time with the last kick of the game. Maidstone missed their first three penalties and Wimborne held their nerve to win 3-1.
A decent crowd of about four hundred. It was my first game since early March.
