At 34 probably couldn't sit around waiting to see if we would offer him anything.
 
Good luck and thanks Charlie. One of my favourite players of all time, also seems to be a genuinely top bloke off the pitch. Him and Pughie have had a lot of time training with the team, if the club can't see enough in them to make a decent offer, it's time to move on. It's harsh but you can't stop the march of time.

In 50 years time, Cherries fans will still speak fondly of Charlie Daniels, his fantastic goals, and what a top, top fella he was.
