Cherries Trust Board recently had a fruitful and frank meeting with Jeff Mostyn, Liz Finney and Neill Blake.

The notes from the meeting can be read here

On the search for sites for a new stadium: "The club has received significant support from its local Councils". Councils plural then - is that a typo or is the club looking at Christchurch, Poole, East Dorset??

Thanks for posting that.
Positive news in there to cheer me up after the Mings debacle.
I would certainly note the use of Councils in the plural - the search will be wide and with regards to transport links will almost certainly involve more than 1 council. encouraging that people are working on it full time.
Positive that the stadium move is not dependent on league status and that the yanks and Demin are in for the long haul (course the cynic in all of us will say "they would say that").

NB was pleased to confirm that as of the date of the meeting, the club had agreed to implement an automated access control system to be in place for the beginning of next season. This will facilitate a ticket exchange, lost ticket procedures and speed up entry into the ground.

What a great idea. Can't believe no-one thought of this before

What about the lack of availability of home tickets to those with zero home points.
How are you going to encourage new fans if they have to travel hundreds of miles to watch the team.
A ballot system for a limited amount of tickets will allow some new followers to get to see the team.
Obviously we are limited by capacity but we need to maximise the opportunity of gathering as many new fans as possible.

On this note:
"The club raised two further items for discussion: applications to become next season’s nominated charities were due to be sought with a press release ready to go subject to discussion by the meeting. LF set out the procedure planned to ensure the Trust were happy with the process and to gain input. This was agreed."

The Dorset Children's Foundation will hopefully be making an application. They have been mentioned a few times on this board in a very positive manner. This is an early plug to give them your support in the process where possible!!!

Thanks and well done to all of you who give up your precious spare time for the sake of your fellow supporters : )

( Hopefully, we will get around to joining this weekend)

Tony was far too polite to stick a 'join here' link in his post, but I'm pretty shameless.

If any of you fancy getting involved, you can find out more here:
