Could Sundays Game be a "Free Spin"?

I've been looking at the fixtures and whatever way I throw it I cannot see Stoke nor Palace getting anything from their games this week. Therefore do we see Sunday as a free spin - would Eddie need to fire up the players knowing that a result would put us 7 or better still 9 points ahead of 18th?
 
As expected with Palace losing as did Southampton and Stoke with the thankless task of Man City, tomorrow could see us extend our lead above Palace to 9 points. And with our goal difference that becomes 10. It's a massive IF but I'm sure Eddie will see this as a season defining chance to secure our 4th season in the top flight
