Had an early visit to the afcb superstore yesterday, and it sparked a totally irrelevant question which maybe someone on here can answer.

Is that really the actual crossbar damaged by Reg Cutler in the superstore? I mean, why would Wolves have given it away and how did it get transferred to Dean Court?

I think Reg Cutler broke the Post..not the crossbar.
5 minutes into the game he got tangled in the side netting and it either snapped the post or pulled the post away from the crossbar which collapsed..
That was my Dad's story- he was fairy close by.
