Well now you do!
My wife is the treasurer of the PTA at our boys’ school in Salisbury. She’s a demon fund raiser and has been arranging a charity art auction and ‘secret postcard sale’ where famous artists and celebrities contribute artworks to be sold for a fixed price with the artists’ identity only revealed once the postcard has been bought. She contacted Bournemouth (and the Scummers – unsurprisingly they didn’t get back to her…!) to see if any of the players would be willing to contribute, and she received signed original drawings from Callum Wilson, Nathan Ake, Dan Gosling, Simon Francis, Charlie Daniels, Asmir Begovic and Steve Cook! Sadly, I can’t share images of them with you in advance, but they are truly one-offs, and are being properly mounted and framed in smart red and black frames too.
The only down side is that the sale is taking place at Salisbury Museum on Saturday 16 March between 4pm to 6pm – the same time as the Newcastle home match (it was the only date the venue could do)! Hopefully some fans will be able to make it down to have a look and pick up some unique pieces of AFCB memorabilia. Full details of the event can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/events/2257715201111266/
Thanks all!
