Eddie gives Arsenal credit for their character and also chooses not to blame the red card in any way. Wenger has never seen games clearly. He likes to come across as a 'gentleman' but is a bitter and deluded man. The Arsenal board must have been impressed with at least one of the managers. Wonder if they heard the Arsenal fans singing 'this is embarrassing'?
 
that's very true wenger is the worst of the lot and has been for years, used to enjoy the way fergie and latterly mourinho used to wind him up effortlessly with a little smile on their faces

i mean wenger even managed to have a major spat with martin jol a few years back ffs

So true. I used to give Wenger the benefit of the doubt based on the way his teams play and his seemingly intelligent approach but his myopic attitude is just so tedious.

The difference in recovery time did make a difference - but only in the minds of his players because he'd been bleating on about it for two days. They weren't tired in the first 20 minutes when we went 2-0 up but their heads were full of his excuses. Then in the last 20 minutes - when according to Wenger's masterplan they'd be dead on their feet - they got a sniff, forgot his crap and clean forgot they were supposed to be tired.

Same at Watford - Mazzarri moans about injuries and look at how they're playing. Compare and contrast with Eddie last year when he refused to blame our appalling injuries and stayed ever positive.
