Does Parker’s Red mean…

Neil, you must agree it was a better performance than some of the games we have won recently?

If football was easy to predict, bookies wouldn't exist.

I thought it was a positive, and improved performance over 90 minutes, but unfortunately we lost.

I’d love to know what got him sent off. Players swear all the time, I wonder if certain words are deemed more serious than others. To get a straight red for abusive language is an achievement. He could have been issued a yellow.

No doubt when players surround the ref on the pitch there’s colourful language

Parker lost his rag, and then spat on the field as he was being escorted away.

I dare say he may claim he was spitting on his brogues.

Good to see some passion from Scott.

Smith though needs to stop thinking he is a hard man. He drops like a fly under a fair tackle and rolls around like he's been shot.

At 5 foot 8, he probably doesn't strike the fear of God into many a man, and now serves a ban where his mouth has done more talking than his football.

It felt like the officals knew at least one if not both PNE goals were a bit iffy, and flashing cards around for any perceived indiscretion perhaps helped to disguise that. I could see Parker arguing, worth a red? Maybe, not sure. But couldn't see anything wrong with Smith at all. All be it I was a distance away.

I suppose we could have reacted with a bit more composure.

Hope we can bottle that anger up and use it Tuesday.
