These could all be bullshit today, but I do know New Zealand has the longest name. I'll go for 4, you'd think the light could reflect in an infinate amount of different ways.

Al, tempted by 10 Danish Flag, blood cell going all around your body in 1 minute, really?
But I'll go for 5 - longest place name, in NZ.

Thanks for your time in compiling these by the way.

I’m going with 2, I suspect the answer is not Egypt as everyone would expect.....can’t recall hearing Sudan and pyramids in the same sentence though (but I Guess it’s also not been highly promoted for tourism :) )

I know the place name was quoted in that bloody awful Quantum Jump song, Lone Ranger - so I think that's true. A snail can sleep for 3 years? - it doesn't mean all snails, so presumably one species of snail can sleep that long.

The first camera was the camera obscura, or pinhole camera - how long the image takes was not dependent on the camera, but on the photographic plates, surely?

I will go for 7 - sitting still for 8 hours?? - don't think so

The duff statement was No 6.
A red blood cell takes around 20 seconds to go round the body.

Erik wins the pint of socially distanced Theakston's Old peculiar.
