Good news thread

Walking by Derwent Water this afternoon, Willow Warblers singing from every other tree, Barnacle Geese down from Iceland in the fields, Reed Bunting near the Lake shore, Heron and Goosander on the water, swallows and House Martin ducking and diving over the meadow and to top it all a pair of Mandarin Ducks sauntered out to have their picture taken. And all the results have gone our way. Someone upstairs is smiling on us today.

Had a close encounter with a red squirrel in Portugal last week. Lovely little creatures - sad there are so few remaining in the UK

Broken Biscuits

Christ Almighty what a Booby !
You don't CRY when your club gets relegated.
You straighten up and take it on the chin.
It means your club isn't up to standard for the league you're in....and is put into one that is easier to function in - THAT is what relegation was conceived for ....many years ago !

Acting like a cry- baby over Football, in this manner, is totally inappropriate in a World where there is much Real Strife that folk have to deal with.
