I feel sure that everyone that can't make it today because of distance, finances, age, infirmity, family or work commitments or any other reason will be envious come three o'clock.
A new season always begins with new hope and optimism that this season will be successful. This season is no different except that with a manger committed to attacking football, players of international quality and no danger that we will go bust at point the only way, surely, is up.
If you are able to go this afternoon, please, get behind the team and make some noise for all of us who cannot be there. Enjoy the spectacle and hopefully the result.
