Bit of a long shot, but any recommendation's as to a decent pub/bar in Bondi to try and watch the game on New Years day?
 
Cheers Silent. I did think of that, but thought it might be tough sitting there surrounded by Brighton fans wildly speculating about how much i earn, what my rent costs, how much is in my wallet, and how good the infrastructure of the pub is etc etc
 
Forget Bondi.
The Sydney Cherries meet at Cheers Bar, which is on George Street, Central Sydney, about 200 metres north of Town Hall.
Several matches are shown in different areas of the bar, mostly PL games.
On the walls are football shirts, including in a prominent position, the signed and framed shirt presented to the Sydney Supporters by AFCB, in a very .
It’s a great atmosphere there, saw a match there myself a couple of weeks ago.
 
I got my norths and souths mixed. Cheers bar is technically south of Town Hall. Ie opposite direction to QVB.
Stand in George Street, face Town Hall, and Cheers Bar is 200 metres to the left direction, on the same side as Town Hall.
Sydney Supporters paid for the framing, and it looks great compared to the other shirts, merely hung on the walls
