Is there a reason for Saints unusual fixture sequence?

It appears Saints fixture schedule has them now due to play 4 consecutive away matches before Chelsea, their next home match in 6 weeks time.

Thought this only occurs in exceptional circumstances i.e. if requested by club for safety/building reasons, seems strange.

The London Stadium wasn't ready at the start of the season, so the fixture was switched to St Mary's.

Anything that makes it a struggle for them is good. Couldn't have worked out much better apart from a 10 point deduction.

I was expecting to look at those games and see the top six but it was anything but.

Their away fixtures have been much harder.

VERY true KBG, so Saints have won just once in 16 and that was against West Brom (who can't beat them? doh!)

It's not looking too good for them, especially as their only remaining home games are Chelsea, AFCB & Man City, obviously zero from those 3 :hihi:
