The fewest games lost in any pl season is 16 in 16/17 and 17/18.
We’ve lost 13 so far

The most games won is 13, in 18/19. We’ve won 12.

Most points so far is 46 in 16/17. We have 45.

Highest league position is 9th in 16/17. We’re currently 10th

Best goal difference is -12 in 16/17. We’re on -11

Most goals scored 56 in 18/19. Currently stands at 49.

Fewest goals conceded 61 in 17/18. Currently 60

Dom has 18 goals beats Josh King’s record in 16/17.

Most points clear of relegation 18 in 16/17

We should have a contest around which of these remaining marks we will equal or exceed.
 
Some of our football last night was just excellent. Wolves couldn't get near us at all in the first half. We look so confident in our control, movement and passing. We are playing brave, front foot football. Such a contrast to Parker or GON.

Beating the likes of Manchester United or Chelsea in the past was a triumph. It is no longer a surprise.

Our finishing needs work, a lot of work. But the way the team plays is light years ahead of Parker or GON.

If Christie and Cook could score 15 goals a season between them that would kill off games that we have struggled in. Too many games. Last night was a key example. Manchester United another. Our dominance wasn't reflected in the score. Both games should have been out of sight by half time.

The most important thing for me is that I go to games knowing I'll be entertained. I don't have to watch the last half hour with an extra defender while we wait for the opposition to score.

It will probably get slightly better for a season or two...but without progressing to a bigger stadium and buying slightly better and uninjured players we will be forever just a Tinpot nuisance buzzing between 8th and 18th for the rest of the decade... !

Only in Bournemouth have I heard people saying they 'hate' their home town team.

Mainly when I was growing up. Strangely I thought it might be more common now as we surpass/battle with some of their glory teams.

Looking at the table today all of the country’s historically largest clubs ( maybe swap WHU for Everton) are in the top half of the PL .Then comes AFC Bournemouth playing some of the most attractive football in the division .if we let that sink in ,particularly the older supporters that is an incredible even miraculous achievement . “ as good as it gets “ who knows , but it can’t be far off .
 
If it all ended tomorrow, it's been fantastic....I think of my Dad and friends who missed out on this....weve been truly blessed by the football Gods....makes me smile when I read all the arguments on here about ....we should be doing this or we should be doing that...I pinch myself when I look at the PL table and see us in the top half.....as good as it gets ? ..... do you know what, I think theres more to come and I only hope I last the course to see it .....coyrs.. (y)
