Joe Allen to Stoke

Would love him here, but we wouldn't pay the wage Stoke can. And once we'd brought in Ake and Cook, there wasn't likely to be another central midfield addition.

Stoke are shaping up to have a decent side this season. 20m odd on Berahino as well perhaps.
 
more direct rivals for survival would have been swansea so just pleased he didn't re-sign for them and went to stoke instead
 
Joe is a really good player,I am a massive fan and he showed how good he was in the Euros where he made team of the tournament.
I actually can't believe Liverpool have sold him,although Stoke are apparently losing their best plater Arnautovic to Everton...
