New multi ball rule

What a load of rubbish the new rule is, with the ball boys and girls no longer allowed to pass the ball directly to the players. It just slows the game down so much.

Within the opening minutes we had Everton players kicking the spare balls off the cones to prevent us taking anything quickly.

Imagine how long the Sheffield United goalkeeper would have took with these new rules…

… please bring back some common sense.

Extra 30 mins injury time to allow for time lost not rolling back in acceptable time frame.

We were discussing this yesterday.
In some ways it makes sense, removes the possibility of ball boys speeding up/slowing down distribution depending in instructions from home team, and of course the occasional confrontation between ballboy and players which sadly happens.
As for your point about players kicking the ball off the cones, should be an immediate booking

It's a good job they do use multiple balls these days. If it had been only one yesterday the poor thing would have been air sick after 20 minutes.
