It is hot. 10 p.m. and 82 degrees. Beer is good. Met a bartender who knew all about the Cherries and our rise up the league's, knew about Eddie coming back, our small stadium etc and loved that we were rubbing noses with Man U and Chelsea etc. Tomorrow it's the Nomad pub for the dethloon express bus to the ground and meeting up with a few US cherries.
Just got to dust off the red and black shirt and ready to go!!!

Football season is nearly here :)
Would appreciate it if you're able to post some thoughts of the game to enlighten us not lucky enough to be there.
As for being hot, it's damn hot enough as it is here in Blighty, thanks very much!!

82 degrees ? Is that all ?

That's at night!
Expected to be about 98 today!
Minneapolis seems a fine city. The Mississippi river is huge, even so far from the sea.
Staying in the university district which is pretty lively.
The new NFL stadium is very impressive.

Haha I know. Trust me though it was not much different here yesterday through the day and at night !

There's a little piece on COWS about Minnesota United, who are about to join the US equivalent of the Premier League. Spot the difference to a recently promoted English team:

Currently in the NASL league, the American equivalent of the Championship, Minnesota United are set to be part of the MLS expansion and will join the top tier of American football in 2017 or 2018.

Soon after the club was awarded the spot, they announced the plan to build a state-of-the-art stadium in the centre of Minneapolis. Construction of the stadium is expected to begin this summer.
