A great champion, sad to see him struggling against players he'd brush a side few years ago. He would've won alot more Slam's if he wasn't up against the 3 best ever players these last 15 years.

Sad to see Andy playing like that.....wish some of our players had his guts though.
In contrast Dan Evans was absolutely superb today .

Pulled that win out of the bag.

The crowd certainly helped !

Showed his experience and class at the end but his fitness will probably let him down against a very tough opponent next round .

Wasn’t he moaning about the pitch beforehand? It being too slippery?

Nothing against him but he’s a professional, it’s the same for everyone just get on with it and seems he did. But I bet if he lost he would have blamed the pitch

He hasn’t been the only one with worries.

Others have too and some got injured due to slippery conditions.

I struggle getting behind Murray I must admit... but I enjoyed the game last night... He is clearly low on confidence and really bonded with the crowd to see him across the line, and quite comfortably in the end...

Nice to see him acknowledge the few members of the crowd that clearly got him focused and pumped up... What with England, Cav winning on the Tour and Wimbledon, certainly a good few days for UK Sport...

On that note, why do we play tennis as GBR and not Eng, Sco, Wal etc.????
