Re: The conviction of Omar Benguit for the murder of Jong Oki Shin. He was convicted solely off the testimony of hard drug addicts; 2 of whom have since retracted their statements and admitted they lied in them.

Interested to hear your opinion of this- Is he is guilty or not? Please watch the whole thing before shooting it down because the accusations of corruption come across as wild for the first half of the series, until we actually hear from the addicts who gave the statements.

Part 1:

Just watched all six episodes (didn't plan do to that this morning!).

I will be amazed if he doesn't get freed on his next appeal.

Haha yea it probably wasn't a good idea to post this thread at 3am on a Thursday! I'll be surprised if he isn't freed on the next appeal either but I just hope he has really changed because even if he didn't do this (looks unlikely at this point to me) he still has a past of pretty significant violent behavior.
