Non- Manchester Arena

Oh the hypocrisy of some KBG

Re read the Syrian refugee thread from a few years back.

This was most likely a home grown terrorist; but the point still stands.

Radicalised by an ideology.

Worried for our way of life KBG??

Tell that to the parents of the teenagers killed by these people you thought wouldn't change our 'way of life'

Have they changed our way of life Ken?

Yes they have.

Defend your stance now as you send your grandaughter off to a concert she may have been looking forward to for months.

You're not going to want to be a Muslim in Manchester right now.

It would help if Muslim communities openly & vociferously condemned these acts!

They do but nobody cares. A guy from the Manchester Islamic society was on within an hour wishing people well, praising the emergency services and condemning whatever scumbag did this. Taxi drivers, doctors, takeaway workers all doing their best to help the people affected but sadly it's the sh*thead with the backpack who is seen as their community's representative.

I hate to think that my community is represented by people like reservoir_red or pogo with their gleeful nonsense minutes after kids have been killed but sadly those that shout the loudest or cause the most damage often get their way. Scum that kill kids in concerts want all out war between cultures and so do the far right reactionaries. They'll probably get what they want too. What a sh*t world we live in.

Yet here you are "gleefully " banging on about far right reactionarys .Yeah your so different to People like pogo and reservoir .
Other than that your right just another step towards God only knows what .Some will call for tolerance others for intolerance but no one has answers and innocents will keep on being killed .

Sadly innocents have been being killed in horrendous numbers for the whole of human history.
We really are a despicable bunch.
There has never been a time when humans weren't killing other humans - for the colour of their skin, the particular religious fantasy they believe in, the football team they support - or any one of hundreds of other pathetic reasons.
To be surprised by this sort of behaviour is to deny that many, many people are hate filled, despise their fellow humans and are willing to harm those who don't fit in with their world view.
Ranting at a whole ethnic group because of the actions of an individual really doesn't help the species to move forward does it?

A lot of these were young people who probably are not interested in politics etc.

Very well said Garry.

'are willing to harm those who don't fit in with their world view. '

They have just announced an 8-year-old girl was one of the victims who died.

No glee from me - far from it. The difference between me and pogo and reservoir is that I don't want these people to be successful in their efforts to rip our society apart and pitch people against each other.

Agree with the other paragraph though.

Which is £uck1ng awful :( :(

She died because she lives in Britain and was going to a pop concert. They knew nothing about her or her thoughts...they only cared that she was there. Thats the point Billy.

The people that commit these acts of violence (no matter when in history, or what the pretend ideology) are only driven by hatred. Youth are often the most tolerant, best way to keep themselves relevant, to keep stoking the fires is to aim at the moderates, that way the moderates start to hate you too

Before the arguments here grow too loudly, I want to pass my condolences and hopes for peace and serenity from across the pond.

Condolences obviously.
But my point is - you are not going to stop this.
We are not a peaceful species.
Our government kill innocents.
Scumbags kill innocents because they want their money, car, phone.
Bearded nutters blow innocent people up because they don't believe in their made up deity.
Mothers kill their innocent children for crying too loud.
Etc. Etc. Etc. and on it goes forever.
As sad and horrible as it sound - this shít is part of human nature.

The fact is the vast majority of human beings are peaceful and tolerant, we are fortunate to live in a country which is far more peaceful and tolerant than most even within the European continent.

Attempts to normalise this kind of deviant behaviour as in the post above are at the very least misguided in the extreme.

Just named the tw at

Apparently they didn't want to name him yet but their hand was forced because the American security services had leaked it to the press over there. Ffs.

22 years old and hiding behind some bullsh*t ideology to justify murdering kids. The one time I agree wholeheartedly with Trump - what an utter loser.
