What was said? Guess it depends on the specifics. If it incites hatred, there's a problem. If it's just an opinion without doing that, even a strong opinion that others find offensive, I don't think it's right to ban someone in that case. Challenge them, but not ban them. Being human is being offended sometimes. We need to toughen up a bit rather than censor everything.

The graphs show sod all increase in life expectancy until about 1930 so this massive colonial benefit must have all happened in the last 17 years of the empire. If you look at the same graph for China it shows exactly the same rapid increase from about 1930, which is a hell of a coincidence isn't it?

Yeah..see what you mean by that... the spike in the graph from 1930 onwards, plus the China comparison...and as suggested in another post probably due to the wider availability of penicillin and antibiotics.
.....but during the decades of the 19th Century lots of things were put in place regarding medicine and surgical procedure...plus general health measures...by the British....to improve the wellbeing of the Indian people.
