Non Question for the oldies

Does anyone remember the name of the larger than life folk singer who used to play at the Shiprights over the back of Poole Quay. Going back to the late 60's I'm afraid.

He also appeared regularly at a pub out Lytchett way and also in Swanage.

His wife with long hair used to take the pint pot round.Gave us an early introduction to the Blues.

popular pub on the docks on the
Hamworthy side of the bridge, some
good times there listening to Pete
Franklin and Julia Fox playing jazz
on the old piano! Raise your glasses
