The score (0-2) actually suited both teams in the end as they both survived on goal difference - another two goal swing for Weymouth would have seen Dover down.

Remember going down there for the FA Cup replay in November 1965.
After the 0-0 draw at Dean Court, the Cherries won the replay 1-4.

For a non league team they get very good crowds,were very well supported when Claridge was there as manager.
I remember that Italian striker they had in the early 80s I think it was - Iannone I think his name was? I also remember seeing Carl Richards play down there for Enfield before he joined us
