That's a huge part of our identity, our heritage, chucked in the bin.

Shameful.
But Bill doesn't give a monkeys about 'our heritage' does he??
It's all about 'money', 'profit' & 'maximising the returns on his investment'
We count for nothing in Bill's eyes, we are just another source of income for his multi sports franchises, no more, no less.
As supporters, we are basically 'collateral damage' in his great scheme of things.
It will get worse, believe me. As a Yank, he cares not one whit about 'us' just the balance sheets showing a healthy profit...

It is a strange decision to get rid of the red army chant, given it can't be monetized.

Thing is it's not even a commercial decision. It's not like there's revenue to be made from that boy scout band music or Metallica. It's just a massive own goal. And it's not like Bill is making these decisions himself, is there really nobody in the club in the department that sorts out pre match entertainment that can speak up for the fans?
