1983: A Trevor Morgan penalty wasn’t enough to stop AFCB slipping to a 1-2 home defeat to Bristol Rovers in the Milk (League) Cup first round first leg tie. Crowd: 3,473

1986: Just 2,799 fans turned out for this Division 3 game at home to Newport County. AFCB triumphed 2-1, with David Puckett and Carl Richards netting for Boscombe. So who else on here was one of ‘Not The 8502’?

1997: Bournemouth 2 V 0 Blackpool. Robinson and Tomlinson eased The Cherries to a comfortable victory in Division 2 (tbh I’ve given up working out the real division!). Crowd: 4,196.
 
Was at all 3. Think the Rovers game we battered them but it was one of them matches. Awful attendance at Newport game.
