Online ticketing difficulty

Sorry if this has been done to death already . . . .

I tried to buy 3 tickets under mine, my son's and my wife's account numbers this morning. All with enough points (It was Chelsea - on general sale anyway.) I logged into my account, chose 3 tickets and then gave my son's and wife's account numbers (leaving the box blank against mine). It then told me I had exceeded the number of tickets for my account.

Lots of faffing around, tried buying from the other 2 accounts (which WOULD let me buy one in MY name). But the best I could do was buy 2 tickets.

Anyone had this problem - what am I doing wrong?
 
Trying to get 2 coach tickets sat together is impossible. The on line ticket system, like the BIC shambles too many in the queue , just reflects the club off the pitch still back in Div 2 days.
