Parker has a big decision to make.....

Totally depends on the game. In a dominant display against a struggling a home Bristol City he will pull the strings.

But other games where the side will have more possession, like against Blackpool where he wasn’t great you may look at other options. Especially when you have the likes of Pearson.

Need the power midfield v Stoke. They will try to rough us up.
Lerma, Pearson, Billing, Christie.
I dont see Gav as being that lightweight tbh.....wins plenty of 50/50 tackles and tracks back superbly whilst throwing in the odd tactical foul .....just a very intelligent player.

Agree seems horses for courses, but good to see that kilkenny still see.s part of the plans and doesn't look on this showing he will be loaned out in January
Totally agree with this. After how he started it would have been incredibly harsh to see Kilkenny drop out of SP’s plans. Today shows that he will get his chances when the game demands it. Really chuffed for the lad ! It’s a long season and hopefully he’ll get plenty of opportunities without going out on loan.

I thought Stoke fans were claiming they'd been turned into a football team now?

Hilarious to see them moaning about the West Brom v Brum match being all long ball and asking how anyone could watch that.

All fans are a little odd but nobody tops them for the reality displacement field.

I don’t really care who the opposition are, you just can’t drop Kilkenny after that. For the position he was playing, that was virtually the perfect performance. Let’s not act as though he’s a light weight either, he won numerous second balls today. Has to play now, completely unfair to him if he doesn’t keep his place after that.

Absolutely this. Has to pick the team for the match not only individuals. Good having choices and Kilkenny did have a great match today.

Oh right. You know that?
Well it's whats happened since Pearson and Lerma came back for the Hull game.....this is the first time Kilkenny has even been in the matchday squad while those two have been fit so I'd be extremely confident of being right tbh...lol....but hey if you really believe that Parker was waiting all along for us to play Bristol City to unleash Kilkenny fair enough!
...:grinning:

Yeah, Pearson will be back v Stoke.

More experience plus fresh legs. Win win imo.
Kilkenny really shouldn't be dropped..... Stoke are not the Stoke of old....they beat West Brom because they dominated the midfield not because they were physical...we need players who can keep the ball.

Maybe against some of the weaker teams Kilkenny is a better choice. Against Peterborough our passing was too slow

His turn and switch of play are real assets. Depending on the opposition, his lack of height and physicality has to be a consideration within the overall team.
