That was my first thought too after the challenges of the Swansea and Luton pitches.
Brentford will have played twice since we last played by the time we face each other on 30th Dec.
Surely if a club has built a new stadium with ambitions of getting to the PL,then they would build it to PL requirements such as undersoil heating and good drainage alongside media and hospitality needs and all the other stuff?So why would their pitch be so bad.
Didn't DC have a million quid spent on it just to meet those PL requirements.

Clay soil within the Thames flood plain - but with modern technology surely they could create a pitch with efficient overall drainage. If they’ve made a cock up of it then Brentford will have quite a lot of problems
