Canadian folk icon Ian Tyson (of Ian and Sylvia) passed away last night. Sad as it recalls a time when the folk scene in the early sixties provided a juxtaposition to the arrival of Messrs. McCartney, Jagger, Lennon, et al. Age 89, had a good run.
