BOURNEMOUTH INTERESTED IN RIQUELME

Bournemouth are interested in Atletico Madrid winger Rodrigo Riquelme.

He is a young, exciting player with just one appearance for the first team in the cup but he is on the club's radar.

Reading are also keen with Bournemouth yet to sign any players during this window.
 
This might be where we have to pay better wages, because our league status and stadium are not bigger draws!
 
Bit weird this. He seems to have been training with Reading for a few weeks. But are they under some sort of transfer restriction from EFL?

On Rodrigo Riquelme's situation, Paunovic said: "I wish I could tell you more, but all of the circumstances of the times that we're living are making it difficult to close the deal.

"He's still in Reading. We had permission from Athletico to have him in training and now we're looking to extend that. At this point we're still working on it.

"It's obvious we're coming into the last week of the transfer window. We're looking forward to clarifying that very soon."
