Sad loss of a VP and club sponsor

Just heard the sad news on the passing of Dennis Hordle. Dennis and his wife Pam have been club Vps and supporters of the club for many years. Including many sponsorship packages, the sponsorship SO’D for many years. With their son Phillip they helped the club financially in many ways from being a major shareholder in the mid to early 2000’s and through investing generously in Playershare during their heyday.

Thoughts go out to Dennis’ family and friends, he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
 
Don’t know them, but see they celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary last year, pic In Echo of 65th.

Sad news indeed. It's unlikely the club would have survived without the Hordle's. Their help was immense and mostly unsung.
Dennis was never anything other than friendly and courteous.
