Excellent* piece on West Brom's use of set pieces here http://www.umaxit.com/index.php/columns/by-the-numbers-west-bromwich-albions-set-piece-conversion but what struck me is that we're actually one of the closest comparisons in terms of our reliance on set piece goals.

Barely a game goes without a grumble about our corner and free kick delivery, so I was surprised by these figures.

Just read that myself. Certainly puts to bed some wrong assumptions about our set pieces. Would love to see the stats turned on their head now looking at set piece chances/goals conceded.
