Spurs Parking

Heading up to Spurs in a minibus....any recommendations as to the best place to park?

Are we better off parking well away from the ground and getting the tube / train in? (I suspect "yes" is the answer.)
 
As a designated away pub I think we should be ok parking around The Elmhurst. Should just be able to park on a side road I think? Has anyone done that before?

Assume that The Elmhurst lets kids in?
 
For London games recently we have been driving to Kew Gardens station and getting the Overground or Tube from there.
You can park on the street close to the station for free and it's a relatively uninterrupted drive (by London standards!) between there and the end of the M3.
