There were strong rumours at the Cherries Trust AGM that ‘Sweet Caroline’ would be binned this Saturday to be replaced by a more ‘fan-centric’ way of livening the crowd up when the team come out. This initiative did not come directly from the Cherries Trust but has come about by consultation with some fans...

Worth pointing out Sweet Caroline was played at the request of Eddie and the players not the “suits”. Hopefully the replacement will be suitable for fans, players, Eddie and the suits

I believe that Eddie and the players are concerned by the lack of atmosphere on occasions.
Sweet Caroline was a (misguided) attempt, from the management, to get us all to make a bit more noise.

I think it’s down to us, not them, to sort this out - and it’s easily done.
