I'm reading Alan Johnson's memoirs and he mentions that when watching his team QPR against Bournemouth and Boscombe in the 59/60 season our mascot then was a man dressed entirely in red and white called the Candyman. Also I have an old cigarette card with a man dressed as a Shakespearean actor as Boscombe's mascot. Can anyone recall what other mascots we have had in the past?
