The south coast is actually ours

Apparently some of our supporters were embarrassed by this song. Well, there is no need for them to feel embarrassed at the moment.

I can't see it changing much with Hughes in charge although he might make a Stoke out of them yet..I see the 'Hughes out' threads have started although some are trying to deflect the criticism by blaming the board. Lets hope they don't make a rash decision and sack him just yet.

Watched him on Sky Sports News yesterday. Pronounced Bertrand in a French accent... how can you mispronounce your own captains name?!

Since we have been in the Premier League.

2015-16
6th Saints - 63 pts
16th AFCB - 42 pts

2016-17
8th Saints - 46 pts
9th AFCB - 46 points

2017-18
12th AFCB - 44 pts
15th Brighton - 40 pts
17th Saints - 36 pts

Now this season, who will be the highest of the three clubs?
We will know after 38 games, not just after 3 games this season so far.

It is a bit early for bragging but the Saints are not really on the South Coast ! The place is Right Up Itself at the end of a little river.
In 1348 the Black Death epidemic reached England on merchant ships calling at the port! If it's still there in the form of PL Slow Death..do not worry..we can't catch it because We Don't Exist!

It is generally acknowledged that the plague entered the south coast of England at the port of Weymouth in Dorset in 1348 and spread along the coast affecting Hampshire’s ports and their hinterland. Records such as bishops’ registers and manor court rolls held at Hampshire Archives throw light on the impact of the Black Death at this time as well as subsequent outbreaks.

Cheers Billy...it's grim reading..I got interested because of how Poole was affected. Mass burials at Baiter etc. There is always a fear that something similar could happen in this era!!!

I don't have any stats to hand, but it seems like Saints have been crap at home pretty consistently for the last 2-3 calendar years now, between Puel, Pelligrini, and now Hughes. Must be a miserable existence as an ST holder there, drifting around the PL struggling particularly at home. They do seem slightly better away?

Of course we always fail to actually take advantage, and seem to have a mental block when it comes to playing at their place!

I'm pleased with our start this season as our play has been visibly better than last year's start, but let's not get carried away!
We're 3 games in and we haven't played a top-6 side yet.
If we're still in 3rd place at Christmas, we can start gloating.
