The twelve days of football

Hadn't noticed until this morning, but a real football feast looms. FA Cup from Thursday the 25th to Monday the 29th, followed by two rounds of PL starting Tuesday the 30th with games every day through Monday February 5 except Friday February 2.

Keep the coffee coming and reserve my place on the couch.

Well, a rousing start ......

* AFCB rout
* Lots of draws and a last minute ManCity win.
* Maidstone off to 5th round. That was some effort, no horse in the race but I was on the edge of my seat. Announcers saying money from their run will pay for an upgrade to their pitch and some minor improvements to their stadium. hope they get a home game next.

Five FA Cup days down, now 6 days of PL and a bonus 2 days of Cup replays.

This is almost as good as Major League Baseball, where there are games almost every day for 6 months!
