what is the point of Francis?
She falls over.

Problem is Solanke still thinks he’s playing U21 football - he really shouldn’t be in the squad. Needs at least a year on loan to see if he can adjust to adult football
 
Solanke made 21 appearances for Liverpool (not sure how many were only subs) and scored 1 goal. We were mugged yet again.
 
Let's be honest game was gone when the subs came on. As for Francis, not sure why he takes so much stick on here, ok made a mistake for one of the goals, but we lost the game due to 2 awful VAR decisions
 
Come on CherryBare not just in that game Francis is a liability. Even the national press give him low marks. He should never been given his present contact. One of Eddie's weak points sticking with the old guard far too long.

Could be our undoing ..... squeezing Franno and Surman into the team when not justified.

Both were regular subs initially.....Surman all season, Francis after coming back from his injury ....[ when he got sent off against Wolves, think he came back to the bench ].....Surman has only very recently had some game time and mainly down to injuries and suspensions.

Technically the second VAR decision wouldn’t have happenned had Franno not made such a mess of defending when the score was 0-0...

Francis kept cook out the team with some great performances, so easy to pick out individual mistakes. Imagine if he'd hand balled at norwich to lose us the game, the abuse he would get!

Had Wilson scored his easy early chance we wouldn’t have had the two VAR decisions. Had Franno not appealed to the linesman losing time then gone to ground too early we wouldn’t have had the second decision as the whole of the game would have been different. It may be existentialist but it’s not ridiculous.

Martin Keown condemned it and Eddie said after the game he was very disappointed with it. I’ve defended Franno many times on here as he is a player I greatly admire....it’s becoming harder too though.

Technically the second var decision wouldn't have happened had Rambo not unnecessary kicked the ball out of play when the score was 0-0......if we hadn't taken that short corner.....if Eddie had taken Smithy off at half time.......wow you know what .... there's literally thousands of scenarios where that second var decision doesn't happen...... incredible stuff.
