The new manager announcement for me says a lot as to why we have been so close to signing players but nothing has happened.

I can imagine this has been going on for a few days, although to us it's been whirlwind, negotiations must have been progressing for a few days. This would mean finalising player contracts would have been put on hold.

I think we will now see players coming in.

I still think it will be July before we see any big moves for players, unless they come here on a free. We need to wait for the new accounting period for FPP to begin. Sign before then and the costs come into the 22/23 season, I believe.
We almost certainly need to avoid that happening.

Of course, another point is A I could well have said "Nah don't want him or him" etc.
