Top guard security iirc?
Basically looked like bouncers and as yiu say, only lasted a few games iirc?
A few years back (iirc at home v Everton Fa cup 3rd round?).the chap sat next to my wife collapsed on her after (later confirmed) a heart attack.In those days there were always stewards watching the crowd in other stands but not the NS.After many,many seconds of making a fuss the bloke on the end realised what was going on and raced to find help.
Eventually a steward sauntered up ,then had to call medical help on her radio.Several minutes which may have proven crucial.
After that ,for a few years the NS still didn't have stewards watching the crowd unlike the other three stands
In certain circumstances maybe having stewards watching /mingling with the crowd could prove helpful ?
