Under 18s Sweep Past Exeter in the FA Youth Cup

Our under 18's won 2-0 at St James Park to get through to the last 32, Round 4, of the FA Youth Cup where they will meet the winners of QPR v Oldham at Dean Court in January.

Our star man was Michael Dacosta Gonzalez with two superb goals. His second goal was rather Pitmanesque.

We'll be seeing a lot more of this young man.
 
I saw a clip from another game recently in which DaCosta belted in a wonderful free kick. His name seems to crop up in the youth team reports a lot, seems to be a talent.
 
Was going to go as it is nearby, but friends/family deserted me and 1 degree put me off. Plastic.

Sad reality. If he’s any good he’ll be snapped up by a bigger academy.
