Firstly welcome to the site, however short that might be.

Just to update you on our little groups plans and to answer the many questions raised.

30 of us, all members of the Pirtman Hunt have arrived at a ranch a few miles distant from Limbhurst in the Forest with our horses, who are now bedded down for the night. Now you'll appreciate that since the ban on Leicester Fox hunting we do drag hunting, but this is rather dull so we've taken to supporting the mighty cherries away from home. Missed the game lady year, on horseback anyway due to a break out of cleft hoof at the stables, but this year all is well.

We're looking to get to Yates at about 2.00pm and tether the horses before drinking the stirrup cup and more, if you get my drift old chap?

The hunt master will arrive at 4.15pm with the pack and out intention is to then ride to the game with the dogs. You'll be able to differentiate us from the Police. They dress in a black type uniform, whilst we wear red jackets, black trousers, caps and boots. The lads colours.

We also have a crop, not the hairstyle you understand but a whip type thingy, whilst old bill carry a rather cumbersome lump of wood.

We have arranged to water the horses and bed them I the Thames Valley horse boxes for the game so they're fresh for the triumphant gallop back to the village centre where Yates is.

We have then been invited for dinner on the Dutch war ship "Gouda and Edam" before heading back through Surely, Lordswill and Twotone en route to the ranch for the overnight stay.

Hope this helps you plan your day.

Tally ho and away the Cherries :guns:
