Valencia make £12m bid for Coquelin

At the paltry sum of £12m just about every team outside the top 6 in the PL should be bidding for him. Valencia is a big draw at the moment, but any PL team can probably pay more.

But what about wages and other stuff? Valencia are doing incredibly well at the moment and will probably finish in the Champ League spots. Why would he choose to go to an outside top 6 Prem team instead of that?

Money, convenience of not having to move, might not speak Spanish and has lived in England for 10 years. Still won't win anything with Valencia, it's the same as Arsenal really.

£12M for a player who cant make it as first choice midfielder for Arsenal makes Lewis Cook a very good piece of work by the recruitment team.

...doubt if Coquelin even knows who we are?

Doubt he would consider us, but he may West Ham or something and stay in London. £12m doesn't get you very much anymore, just pointing out that at that price it's good value.
