Watford Pubs

[North Stand Pundit]

Any suggestions for a decent Pub near Watford? or do we have to transport the Firkin Shed brick by brick. This is the one ground I think we have failed to come up with any alternatives to the very depressing Wetherspoons option.

The Wetherspoons is not prefect by any means, but it has some decent ales and is close enough to the ground.

I've used the Oddfellows every time I've been because it's not far from the ground. Was rammed during our first year in the PL but has got less busy each year (like our away support!). always got plenty of staff working so even if it is busy you do get served quickly.

Queens Head in Pinner or The White Bear at Rickmansworth are decent, but maybe too far out for some.

Little Crown just across from Watford high st station is a nice little pub wit mixed fans

Queens Head in Pinner or The White Bear at Rickmansworth are decent, but maybe too far out for some.

You have to feel sorry Watford fans....well no you dont HAVE to....but you can if you like.
Just say " hello you little buzzers...hows it crackin."..be nice...they cant help where they were born. ..and they do support their local club....not mincing up to Manchester, doing the Corrie tour on the way, photo shoot with Roy Cropper and over the cobbles to attend Fire Drills at OT.
No...they are ' Orns....hope they stay true and go down bravely with the ship if they cant find a lifeboat!
