In the post match interview Rooney said he was there and watched Mings stamp on Zlatan.

Next minute Sky show the incident again and Rooney is clearly facing the referee who is in exactly the opposite direction.

Bare faced liar

He started saying he saw the elbow incident then said he was in the corner and didn't see anything.

Unfortunately it isn't a police investigation. Mings will get 3 games and Crapan will get nothing thanks the wonderful way our FA works.

Agree ,how can he say "yes I saw it "when the umpteen replays clearly show him facing the other way with his back to the incident.

I noticed that too
Also zlatan misses Tyrone with a clear stamp just before Tyrone accidentally catches his ear.
The ref missed a lot too

Be interesting to to see all the incidents involving Rooney over his career.

He would have been best and taken a leaf out of what his manager said or didn't say.

The fact Rooney said he saw the offence and strongly stated a fellow professional should receive a ban when in fact he didn't see it, then he should be charged for bring the game into disrepute.

If the says he saw the alleged stamping in his match report, then there can't be any retrospective punishment, similarly with Ibrahimavic

Yes they can if they deem it serious enough.

Although Mourinho was quite cute, said he didn't want to discuss it but dropped in that Mings would get a 4 or 5 match ban - but he wouldn't like to see it.
Between himself and the as per usual star struck interviwer, ibramiovic's elbow was completely glossed over
