Wayne Talkes RIP

Passed away on 17th April aged 68.

Played most of his games for Southampton but came to play for us but after a few games suffered a bad ankle injury.

Recall he was badly affected by glandular fever when he signed

Very sad news. I think that Wayne played most of his football in the Hampshire League and he was a very influential player for Totton and Brockenhurst after he left DC where his pro career was cut short through injury. He was a really nice guy who was well liked and respected at those clubs and by their opponents. RIP

He always looked so young that it's difficult to imagine him no longer being with us.
