The day Eddie came back was the best day of my AFCB life.
I wish to say "thank you, Eddie", for all the good time and great football .
I remember you as a fresh faced youth and the journey has been amazing.
It was down to you, that my wife is a mad AFCB supporter too. THANK YOU.
Up the cherries.

What is everyone else's favourite memories of King Eddie??
 
I have so many memories it’s difficult to choose a favourite. I was in the AFCB office (in 2004) when Eddie came into the office to sign the contract that saw him return to us, that was certainly memorable.
 
Team was exiting the Scunthorpe stadium onto the bus. There was a challenged Cherries supporter in a wheelchair amongst the group waiting for autographs etc. Eddie went right over to this kid, started talking to him, the kids smile, Eddie stayed for several minutes...never forgot that. The thing about Eddie, beyond the football, he always made us proud.
