in the daily mail a story about spurs banning fans displaying a spurs cyprus flag for being political after the same fans have displayed it for 15 years. utterly ridiculous
 
Tell me that you blame everything on 'woke' without telling me you blame everything on 'woke'.

Meanwhile, the story is:
- Club banned flag
- Supporters complained
- Club immediately backtracked and allowed flag again

I say story in the loosest sense of the word there...
 
If you read a little bit wider than your Daily Mail anti-woke headline... The Cyprus flag had been displayed at the ground for 20 years. Last week, Tottenham gained a new sponsor - a Turkish based company.
Now I don't expect Daily Mail readers to understand what might be happening here, but it's not "woke".
The flag is back. The club made the excuse that it was in Conte's eyeline!
