Considering they haven't started anything yet, I think it's pretty safe to say they won't be training at Canford this season. Originally they said diggers would move in mid-December with the aim of training there this season, so at least 8-9 months if they meant the start of it to get it up to scratch, longer if they meant at any point during the season.

...one day I guess we will know something ATM we are all speculating and peeing in the wind....?

Until then I will concentrate on the football and hope that we can stay at the top table and witness the highest standard of footy ever seen at D C .....UTC

"This update will, as in the past, come from the board via a club statement. This is being reviewed by the board and while it I am aware this will be forthcoming in the near future, I am unable to give you an exact time.

Our supporters have always been a hugely important part of the club and its journey and this has continued to be the case since promotion to the Premier League and this will continue in the future. I would hope that the improvements we have been making to ease the ticketing processes over the past season or so would demonstrate that we are far from discounting that facet of the club as immaterial or unimportant to us.

I am sorry that I cannot give you any further information at this moment but would hope you will accept our reassurance that our fans are a hugely important part of the club and do matter to us."

So basically... “Stop keeping on, we’ve improved the ticket process so you can now actually buy tickets without having problems. Jeez, what more do you want!?”
 
Re Charlie D - watch the full interview. His comments about the stadium and training ground are towards the end. He seems clear there will be nothing this year.

Re Liz Finney - “fans are important” etc ... the practice of the club over the past three years says otherwise. We’ve shown enormous patience: the board has treated us with disdain.
 
We're hugely important and we do matter. Who could ask for more?

The only thing better would be hugely, biggly important.

OK, but what about all those AFCB fans who don't have the opportunity to concentrate on the football and witness the highest standard of football ever seen at DC ?

Exiled fans, returning fans, and most importantly, the new generation of young fans - what about them ?

Stadium isn’t an expense that you pay for with standard income, it’s a full on capex and I still believe Max wants to do that, just look at him with his mum celebrating after the Bolton game, he brought his bloody mum, he’s.......
That's a significant point you bring up..the Emotion he showed at the Bolton match, I've also mentioned his emotions in a previous post but I didn't know his mum was there!
However he might have to balance things with his other investment interests and could have associates advising on various relevant issues - and has politics shoved its nose in?
